Access
It takes about 40minutes from New-Chitose Air Port to the center of Sapporo by a rapid train that costs about 10$ and it departs every 20 minutes from the air port. It is very convenient.
When you have heavy baggage, you can take the limousine bus that leaves just in front of the air port.
Club location :
Our club is in Sapporo, the prefectural capital of Hokkaido.
It has a population about 1.85 million and it is the cultural, economical and political center of this island.
As for the climate, spring bursts with rich greenery, and fair weather prevails from April through June. Comfortable, festive summer see many visitors coming from within Japan and abroad.
Temperatures drop in September and rainfall will increase. People enjoy seeing autumn leaves a few weeks later. Autumn in Sapporo passes quickly, and winter soon sets in. You can enjoy ski for about six months

Sapporo club was founded in 1997 by several women with pioneer spirit !!
One of the women whose name is Ryoko Sato had visited England with FF Saitama members.
That fantastic experience was enough to encourage her to build up the new club in Sapporo where she lives. Since then, Sapporo club has been enjoying to host people from abroad once a year.
We have hosted U.S.A, Germany, Belgium, Australia until now. And we have visited Australia, New Zealand, U.S.A. Canada, and Germany.
We are going to be a host club for Braunschweig/Peine in Germany, and we'll visit Whidbey Island club in U.S.A. in 2005.
We celebrated our 5th anniversary in 2003 when Whidbey Island club visited us.
About the exchanges :
We are proud of having excellent people as our members. Every member loves to make friends throughout the world. We want to introduce Sapporo and Japan all over the world.
We have about 50 members but when we host friends from another country, the number of the member increase twice, three times and more.
Can you guess why ?
Because the families of the member and their friends make one large friendship ring that emits marvelous and helpful power to our club.
Most of the ambassadors who have visited us praised our hospitality and well-organized setup.
